ZING Groupware

Synergy uses ZING system to help facilitate small & large groups. This electronic environment assists people to create new knowledge & make better decisions faster. It enables 'quiet' people to actively participate & encourages creative thinking & innovative ideas. It can even be used to simultaneously work with other groups across the world.

We have used it for a broad range of applications including: Creative Problem Solving & Innovation Workshops; Structured Consensus Building for Decision Making; Focus Groups; Strategy & Process Improvement Sessions; Board Awaydays; & a range of other Interactive Events tailored to client needs.

A typical ZING session involves 6-100 people, using keyboards connected to a central computer with the output displayed using a data projector. This can be extended via the internet to allow multiple sites & computers to be simultaneously connected. Meeting participants only need to be able to use one finger typing to take part. Successful sessions have been run with up to 10 people sharing a keyboard so the power to make effective use of very large group meetings can be easily seen. 

ZING makes use of the following processes: Open Questioning; Parallel Thinking; Rapid Ideas Creation; Simultaneous Input; Sorting, Prioritising & Developing Themes & Action Planning. The benefits of this approach is that it gets everyone involved, supports decisions, encourages new ideas faster – thereby saving precious time.
