Paul Guymer joined Synergy in 2007 as Team Leader for International Development. He has 15 years experience consulting to development partners, government agencies, military organisations, extreme sportspersons & newspapers/magazines, 7 of these years spent on-site in various Asia, Pacific & Middle East locations. He manages stakeholder consultations, needs analysis, project design, project implementation & publicity documentation in various cultures & languages. Paul has completed international development in finance, natural resource & health sectors bringing together & coordinating teams of international & local experts predominantly for IT, multi-media & professional development. He has an increasing focus on sustainability factors in low-resource environments & maintains ongoing supportive relationships with clients for many years.

Hands-on experience & strong communication skills enable Paul to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders identifying their respective needs whilst avoiding high-tech discussions. He continually seeks simple solutions to complex situations with an ongoing awareness of the need for post-project sustainability. As an expert Project Manager, Paul brings together required consultant skills into a cohesive team, delegates effectively & facilitates communications with all stakeholders to ensure that projects deliver on agreed outcomes, whilst encouraging client ownership.

He holds both AUS & EU citizenships, participates in, documents (filming, writing) & supports extreme sports & can be found skateboarding & surfing in his home town of Torquay near Melbourne, Australia.
