Max Dumais joined Synergy in 2007 as an accredited trainer in Dr Edward de Bono’s Lateral Thinking, Parallel Thinking & Directed Attention Thinking frameworks. He is an experienced process facilitator & a specialist in the use of our ZING electronic meeting systems that allow teams to collaborate powerfully both onsite & online.
He has facilitated workshops with both Melbourne Water & the SE Water (AUS) on water management as well as the Sustainable Living Foundation on strategies for the better management of water at a community level. At a government level, he spent four years as a senior Ministerial Advisor to the Minister for Police & Emergency Services at State government level. He was appointed Executive Officer to a Ministerial Group established specifically to address the issues raised in a large public housing area in Melbourne.
After Cyclone Tracey, he was appointed as Director of the Darwin Disaster Welfare Council with the brief to rebuild the civil society after the massive disruption & mass evaluation. At local government level, he has served as councillor, Mayor & change management consultant, assisting with public consultation in the cities of Thuringowa, Hume, Brimbank, Bass, Port Phillip, Hobson’s Bay, Manningham, Whitehorse & Brimbank (AUS).
