Mike’s professional experience was gained during his successful career through executive & operational management in technical, marketing & sales roles within the construction, asphalt, concrete, transport, quarrying & explosives industries in Australia & overseas. He had responsibility for strategic direction, profitability, fixed-cost management, marketing & the development of highly motivated teams with a common purpose. Mike also has had a significant, long-term commitment to, & involvement in various professional & industry associations, advisory boards & regulatory authorities with the key focus being open communication, community interaction, education, training & technological development.
He is an accredited facilitator & coach with extensive experience in training across a wide-range of disciplines – covering practical to technical topics - within Australia & overseas. Mike has presented & had published a large number of technical & marketing papers – one of which received the inaugural & prestigious IQA’s Australia Award as well as the UK’s Ruston Bucyrus Award.
