Karen Morley joined Synergy in 2009 as an Executive Coach with a strong background in Psychology. She has held senior business roles with P&L responsibility so her understanding of the realities that drive good business outcomes underpins her development work with leaders. Recent senior leadership roles at Melbourne Business School included head of Centre for Leadership for Social Impact & Mt Eliza Executive Education. Her work with leaders has spanned business, government & the not for profit/voluntary sectors.

Karen has also had P&L responsibility for a medium-size business, during which time it significantly exceeded revenue targets, & attained its largest ever client in a multimillion dollar global project.

Her PhD research identified the qualities for senior leadership success & she is passionately committed to developing & promoting leadership that creates a positive legacy.

Karen has extensive experience designing innovative, large-scale leadership projects, as well as delivering leadership development programs. She has a considerable track record as a facilitator & psychologist working with senior executives & their teams to increase their leadership effectiveness.

She has worked with executives, cross-functional teams & diverse participant groups in organisations ranging from Aviva, BHP Billiton, Holden, Dept of Education & Training, BT Finance, CSL, TAC & Dept of Justice. Karen’s approach combines theoretical insight with practical business wisdom to meld an engaging & pragmatic style. She is recognised by clients for the depth of insight she develops into their organisational context & for the establishment of enduring relationships.
