Jane Barkell joined Synergy in 2003 & is based in London, UK. She has 20+ years combined work experience as a manager in the development field as well as in pubic sector housing in England. She has a particular expertise in running projects to improve communication & management skills for staff delivering frontline services to the public & in supporting the development of customer care standards.
Jane is known for her training skills, especially engaging de-motivated staff & encouraging positive attitudes & behaviour towards both internal & external customers.
She is our lead trainer in customer care & helps Synergy faciltate/support organisational & cultural change initiatives. Jane is also an NVQ assessor (D32/33), a CIPD qualified coach, an NLP Practitioner & experienced in Investors in People (IIP) accreditation.
Customer Care clients have included a range of Councils, including Islington, Haringey, Richmond, Brighton & Hove, Merton, Hounslow & Barnet. Also Housing Associations & Trusts, such as SITRA Training Agency, Stonebridge Housing Action Trust, West Hampstead Housing Association, Shelter Housing Aid Centre, Waltham Forest Housing Consortium, The National Housing Federation & The Danish Embassy.
