Client Issue: A component of the joint Papua New Guinea & Australia Government Health Services Support Program required a review of existing computerised health management information systems.
Solution: Stakeholder needs analysis from remote aid posts to regional health centres through to national data & information coordination centre were conducted. Process improvement options were prepared & presented with a focus on technology & training & sustainability challenges.
Outcome: National health sector Information & Communication Technology (ICT) policy documented & a national training facility were established & integral to the larger change processes led by clients.
