Alan Rae joined Synergy in 2005. He has worked in engineering, IT, business education, market research & new product development since 1977.

Over the 10 years he has researched & developed a wide variety of training programs aimed at helping small businesses engage with IT & e-business. As part of this work a considerable body of research was carried out on the motivations & requirements of SMEs. This has been turned into materials relevant both to the businesses themselves & to organisations that wish to sell to or educate them.

Alan's client list includes HP, PCWorld, DTI, ODPM via the national e-Procurement Project, Brunel & Royal Holloway Universities. He has a unique ability to simplify complex ideas & communicate them to achieve effective results.
